Assistant Professor Vladimir Perišić is affiliated with the Faculty of Media and Communications at Singidunum University in Belgrade, Serbia. A filmmaker and academic, he studied modern literature at the University of Paris VII and directing at La Femis film school. His graduate film 'Dremano oko' (2003) and feature 'Ordinary People' (2009) premiered at Cannes Film Festival, while his 2024 film 'Lost Country' won the Revelation Award for Best Young Actor at Cannes Critics' Week. He has collaborated with renowned directors like Jean-Luc Godard and Chantal Akerman.
