Vladimir Mitrovic

Vladimir Mitrovic is a Researcher at the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) of Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Virginia Tech). He serves as the Arlington Lab Manager, overseeing technical operations and research infrastructure.

• Education: Specialist (2016) and B.S. (2015) in Computer Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies, Belgrade, Serbia; M.S. in Electrical Engineering from CPES, Virginia Tech (2022).

Research Interests: Vladimir focuses on power electronics systems, with expertise in Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, and Distributed Communication and Control. His work involves developing real-time protocols for high-speed communication between gate drivers, sensors, and controllers within power cells and large-scale systems like modular multilevel converters.
