Viviane Pons

Viviane Pons is a Lecturer at the University of Paris-Saclay since September 1, 2014, affiliated with the GALaC team at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (LRI). Her research focuses on algebraic combinatorics, particularly on partial order structures like the weak order on permutations and the Tamari lattice, alongside contributions to mathematical software development, notably for SageMath.

• Research Interests: Algebraic combinatorics, discrete geometry, and computational mathematics.
• Projects: Participates in the OpenDreamKit project, managing dissemination and development sharing for the Paris-Sud site.
• Academic Background: Defended her thesis in 2013 at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (U-PEM) and completed a postdoc at the University of Vienna from 2013 to 2014.
• Teaching: Currently teaches a Modular Programming course (L1 MI) and has contributed to temporary teaching pages for L1 MI and MP programs.
