Vittal Hari is a Researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany. He contributes to the XEROS (eXtreme European Droughts) project, analyzing drought genesis and climate change impacts across Europe. His work bridges climate dynamics with hydrological modeling, focusing on Indian summer monsoon systems and their global teleconnections.
