Vipin Kumar

Vipin Kumar is a Regents Professor and William Norris Endowed Chair holder at the University of Minnesota's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where he has been a pivotal figure since earning his PhD from the University of Maryland in 1982. His career spans leadership roles as department head (2005-2015) and director of the Army High-Performance Computing Research Center (1998-2005).
