Violetta Tóth-Varga is an Assistant Professor at Eötvös Loránd University, affiliated with the Institute of People–Environment Transaction and the Environmental Psychology Lab. She specializes in environmental psychology with a focus on psychoanalytically oriented infant observation, spatial behavior, and developmental environments. Her research integrates qualitative methodologies to explore how socio-physical environments influence early childhood development.
Her work examines the interplay between infant behavior and environmental factors, particularly through the lens of psychoanalytic theory. She contributes to understanding how spatial arrangements and caregiver interactions shape developmental processes. Her publications highlight themes such as infant observation techniques, environmental influences on child behavior, and the application of psychoanalytic frameworks to spatial analysis.
