Violeta MUNTEANU

Violeta Munteanu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Bucovina. Her research focuses on biomechanics, multibody systems, composite materials, and structural analysis. She has contributed to interdisciplinary projects in automotive engineering, nuclear facilities, and medical rehabilitation.

Her work includes studies on moisture-induced deformation in musical instruments, mechanical design for high-energy physics experiments (ELI-NP), and portable motion analysis systems for clinical applications. She has also explored symmetry principles in civil engineering and heat transfer analysis using dimensional methods.

Publications highlight innovations in composite materials (e.g., glass fiber and carbon/Kevlar-based systems), lightweight automotive components, and biomechanical modeling of human gait recovery. Her work bridges mechanical engineering with applications in sports, medicine, and sustainable construction.
