Viola Priesemann

Prof. Dr. Viola Priesemann is a Professor leading the Chair of Theory of Neural Systems at the University of Göttingen's Institute for Dynamics of Complex Systems, and a Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization. She maintains additional affiliations with the Lower Saxony Centre for AI & Causal Methods in Medicine (CAIMed).

Her research investigates fundamental mechanisms of neural information processing, combining approaches from:
