Vineet Chopra

Dr. Vineet Chopra is Professor of Medicine and Robert W. Schrier Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine. A board-certified hospitalist with expertise in patient safety and hospital-acquired complication prevention, he leads initiatives in vascular access optimization and diagnostic error reduction.

Recent publications analyze midline vs PICC safety, antimicrobial catheter materials, and provider-patient communication dynamics. He serves as deputy editor at Annals of Internal Medicine and has secured grants from NIH, AHRQ, and CDC.
