Dr. Vineet Chopra is Professor of Medicine and Robert W. Schrier Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine. A board-certified hospitalist with expertise in patient safety and hospital-acquired complication prevention, he leads initiatives in vascular access optimization and diagnostic error reduction.

- Professional Achievements: Developed the Michigan Appropriateness Guide for Intravenous Catheters (MAGIC), recipient of multiple research/teaching awards
