Vincenzo Cunsolo is an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Catania, Italy, with a focus on proteomic analysis of agro-food and biomedical samples. He serves on the PhD teaching board in Chemical Sciences and multiple quality assurance groups for degree programs in Chemistry.
His research utilizes advanced mass spectrometry (Orbitrap Fusion, Actapure, Typhoon systems) and bioinformatics to characterize protein structures in food (wheat, chickpea, milk), marine organisms, and ancient samples (mammoth remains, historical documents).
