Vincent Timm

Vincent Timm is a Lecturer and Head of the Interaction Design Lab at the Faculty of Design, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen (HAWK). He has held teaching assignments at HAWK since April 2020, instructing courses such as 'Museum of Boredom' (Summer Semester 2020) and interdisciplinary projects with the Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe and the Faculty of Social Work and Design.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media (2014-2017) and Master of Arts in Digital Media (2017-2019), both from HAWK Hildesheim. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a UX Designer at mpathy.ai from 2019 to April 2020.

Timm's research focuses on the intersection of interaction design, digital ethics, and future skills development. His work explores critical issues including data sovereignty, AI ethics, and digital inclusion, particularly for youth populations. He is an active member of the Society for Digital Ethics e. V., demonstrating his commitment to ethical technology development.
