Vincent Pignatiello, PsyD, is a Professor and Chair of the Clinical Psychology department at Antioch University New England, where he also directs the Psychological Services Center. He graduated from Antioch University New England with a PsyD (2013), MS (2010), and holds a BA from Florida International University (2006). His advanced training includes a fellowship at the Psychoanalytic Institute of New England (PINE) and specialized work in complex trauma and dissociative disorders.
His research interests focus on psychoanalytic approaches to understanding unconscious motivation, professional identity development in trainees, and sociopolitical applications of psychological theory. He integrates clinical practice with administrative and educational roles, emphasizing experiential learning and inclusive classroom environments.
He maintains a private practice addressing complex trauma, chronic pain, existential concerns, and disordered eating. As adjunct faculty at PINE, he teaches on transference and countertransference. His professional affiliations include the Psychoanalytic Society of New England and various clinical organizations.
