Vincent Morreale is an Instructor of Horn at the University of Mississippi's Department of Music within the College of Liberal Arts. He holds a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Tennessee (2012), M.M. in Instrumental Performance from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music (2014), and D.M.A. in Horn Performance from the University of Alabama (2023). His teaching focuses on French Horn performance, music theory, and brass pedagogy through courses ranging from foundational to graduate levels.
Research interests emphasize expanding the horn repertoire through non-Eurocentric compositions, exemplified by his D.M.A. thesis Journey: International Works for Horn. He has performed with ensembles such as the Knoxville Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, and Chicago City-Wide Orchestra (CCWO), where he also served as Music Director. Notable collaborations include work with artists like Joshua Bell and recordings with the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.
Professionally, Morreale maintains a national private teaching presence and performs on a Karl Hill 'Kortesmaki' double horn. His education background includes studies under prominent instructors Calvin Smith, Karl Kramer, and Richard Todd.
