Vincent LaBarca is an Assistant Professor at the Loretto Heights School of Nursing, Regis University. A certified family nurse practitioner, he holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Florida State University.

His research explores the intersection of religion, ethics, and public health, guided by the principle of Cura Personalis (care for the whole person). Vincent emphasizes solidarity and holistic health, viewing well-being as more than the absence of disease.
With over a decade of healthcare experience, he has worked in diverse settings such as hospitals and house calls. In teaching, he engages students through personal anecdotes. Outside academia, he enjoys motorcycle rides, audiobooks, and reality TV with his partner and French Bulldog.
