Vincent Hoppmann is a Research Associate at the Max Planck Institute for Private International Law under Professor Holger Fleischer. He studied law at Heidelberg University from 2018 to 2023 and worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Foreign and International Private and Business Law under Professor Marc-Philippe Weller from 2021.
His research focuses on the intersection of sustainability and corporate law. His dissertation project, titled 'Impulses from the Global South for Sustainable Company Law', explores legal frameworks for sustainable business practices influenced by Global South perspectives.
