Vincent Dalla is a Research Professor at the Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry Research Unit (UR 3221) within the University of Le Havre. The research unit operates under the INC3M Research Federation (FR3038 CNRS) and is affiliated with the Carnot I2C Institute and XLCHEM University Research School.
His research focuses on sustainable chemical approaches with emphasis on:
- Organic and macromolecular synthesis
- Green chemistry methodologies
- Nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus heterocycle chemistry
- Metallic and organic catalysis systems
- Eco-responsible valorization of renewable resources
As part of Axis 1 (Sustainable Chemistry and Health), Professor Dalla contributes to the laboratory's strategic mission established since 1999. The URCOM laboratory maintains significant research infrastructure and has secured funding from diverse sources including ANR, Norman Interest Networks, CPER, FEDER, and industrial partnerships through CIFRE and FUI programs.
The laboratory recently expanded its analytical capabilities with the January 2023 launch of the ACCéS platform (Chemical, Cosmetic and Sensory Analyses), enhancing its capacity for chemical analysis, formulation characterization, and sensory evaluation of cosmetic products and bioresources.
