Viktoria Knoll serves as a Visiting Professor in the Institute of Philosophy at Humboldt University's Faculty of Philosophy, Berlin, where she is affiliated with the Theoretical Philosophy research group. Her office is located in Room 3032 at Unter den Linden 6, and she can be contacted via email at viktoria.knoll@hu-berlin.de.
Her research centers on Philosophy of Perception and Epistemology, specifically examining how sensory experiences form the basis of knowledge. As principal investigator of the DFG Emmy Noether Research Group "A Sensible World," she leads investigations into perceptual epistemology, analyzing the relationship between sensory input, cognitive processing, and justified belief formation within contemporary philosophical frameworks.
Prof. Knoll holds the prestigious DFG Emmy Noether Grant, which funds her independent research group focused on foundational questions in perceptual philosophy. This grant supports her work in establishing theoretical models for understanding sensory cognition.
She directs the "A Sensible World" research team within Theoretical Philosophy, coordinating collaborative projects that bridge classical epistemological debates with modern cognitive science approaches to study how humans construct reality through sensory engagement.
