Prof. Dr. Viktor Stein leads the Stein Lab at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, focusing on Protein Engineering: Biosensing and Transport. His research combines molecular-genetic, biochemical, and biophysical methods to engineer synthetic protein switches, sensors, and transport systems with applications in industrial biotechnology and biomedicine.
