Viktor N. Nemykin is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds a BS/MS (1993) and PhD (1995) in Chemistry from Kyiv State University and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. His research focuses on functional dyes, organometallic chemistry, catalysis, and computational chemistry. He has held distinguished positions including the Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Research (2016) and multiple visiting professorships at institutions like Tohoku University and the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata'.
