Vidhyasaharan Sethu

Vidhyasaharan Sethu is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, UNSW Sydney. His educational background includes a PhD from UNSW, a Master of Engineering Science in Signal Processing from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University.

His research focuses on speech signal processing with emphasis on machine learning applications. Primary interests include:

• Speech-based emotion and mental state recognition systems
• Affective computing and voice biometrics
• Integration of machine learning with signal processing
• Uncertainty quantification in speech systems
• Adaptive audio front-ends and acoustic modeling
