Victoria Polydorou

Victoria Polydorou is a Lecturer at the Medical School, Department of Medicine, of the European University Cyprus. She holds a PhD in Medicine (2013) and an MD (2006) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research focuses on vascular anatomy, fetal cardiology, and atherosclerosis diagnostics.

• Previous Roles: Research Fellow at King's College Hospital (2017), Scientific Collaborator at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014–present)

Her work explores carotid and vertebral artery pathologies, fetal cardiac assessment in IVF pregnancies, and innovative vascular interventions. Recent projects include studies on preeclampsia-cardiovascular correlations and anatomical variations in carotid/stefania arteries.

Notable collaborations span the Asymptomatic Carotid Surgery Trial (ACST-2) and European Society of Cardiovascular Research initiatives. She actively participates in conferences on maternal-fetal medicine, vascular surgery, and health tourism.
