Victoria Martín de la Rosa

Dr. Victoria Martín de la Rosa is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Studies: Linguistics and Literature at Complutense University of Madrid. Her research focuses on cognitive linguistics, metaphor analysis, and critical discourse analysis, with particular attention to political and educational discourse. She also explores evidentiality and modality in journalistic and UN Resolution genres through national research projects.

Her academic contributions include publications in journals like Linguistics and Education, Journal of Pragmatics, and Intercultural Pragmatics, alongside book chapters and co-edited volumes such as Evidentiality and Modality in European Languages (2017) and Thinking Modally (2015). She currently co-supervises three doctoral theses.
