Victoria M Karnes

Victoria M Karnes is a Lecturer in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. She teaches core courses for the Geospatial Technology minor and manages GIS software distribution across the university.

Research and Expertise: Combines geospatial technology with data science, focusing on GIS applications, remote sensing techniques, and planetary science foundations from her graduate work.
