Victoria Leong

Dr. Victoria Leong serves as an Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). She leads the Baby-LINC Lab within Cambridge's Department of Psychology, specializing in developmental cognitive neuroscience research on infant social learning mechanisms.

Her educational foundation includes a PhD in Psychology from the University of Cambridge (2013), for which her thesis received the Robert J. Glushko Prize for outstanding interdisciplinary work from the Cognitive Science Society.

Dr. Leong's research centers on parent-infant neural synchrony during social interactions, utilizing dual-electroencephalography (EEG) to examine how synchronized brain activity between caregivers and infants facilitates early communication and learning. Her work bridges developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical applications in childhood development, with particular relevance to maternal health and parenting dynamics.

Her scientific recognition includes:
