Victor T. Oliva is an Associate Professor in the Library Research and Instruction department at Adelphi University. As a reference librarian, he provides comprehensive research support to the Adelphi community across all academic levels, specializing in one-on-one consultations for complex research queries. Oliva's research focuses on three interconnected domains:
- Library and Information Science: Particularly reference services and information access systems
- Historical Studies: With emphasis on modern historical developments
- Political Analysis: Examining contemporary political systems and ideologies
Beyond formal publications, Oliva has produced significant scholarly works including a master's thesis on early 20th-century American political figures and maintains an annual annotated bibliography of government documents distributed university-wide since 1984.
