Victor Maldonado

Victor Maldonado is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His research focuses on aerodynamic performance of wind turbine blades, particularly examining free stream turbulence and blade surface conditions. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering (2012), M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2006), and B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2004), all from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Previously, he was affiliated with Rensselaer's Center for Flow Physics and Control (CeFPaC) and the School of Engineering's Mechanical, Aerospace & Nuclear Engineering department, based at the Watervliet Facility in New York. His work bridges fluid dynamics and renewable energy applications.
