Victor Kattan is an Assistant Professor in Public International Law at the Rights Lab, University of Nottingham, and a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Law. His work examines legal intersections of apartheid and slavery-like practices globally, focusing on their classification as crimes against humanity.
Dr. Kattan specializes in public international law, with particular expertise in international criminal law and human rights law. His research addresses systemic legal frameworks for addressing historical and contemporary forms of oppression and exploitation.
