Victor Deupi is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at the University of Miami School of Architecture, specializing in architectural history with a focus on Cuban modernism, classical transformations, and urban resilience. He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania (1999), where his dissertation explored Spanish architectural influences in 18th-century Rome.

- Mid-century Cuban modernism and its diaspora impacts
- Classical architecture's evolution through sustainability and technology
- Coastal urban resilience in heritage cities like Miami and Venice
Deupi's publications consistently address architecture's role in cultural preservation and climate adaptation, with recent works analyzing photographic documentation of modernist heritage and resilience strategies for rising sea levels.
He holds leadership roles as President of DOCOMOMO US Florida Chapter and former President of the CINTAS Foundation (2016-2018), supporting Cuban cultural heritage initiatives.
