Dr. Victor (Skip) Hessel serves as a Continuing Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at Calvary University since January 2002, teaching leadership-focused courses within the Business Administration department.
His educational background includes:
- B.S. in Bible & Human Resource Management from Calvary Bible College (1996)
- M.B.A. with concentrations in Human Resource Management, Marketing Research, and Organizational Behavior from the University of Missouri, Kansas City (2001)
- D.M. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix (2014)
Research interests emphasize practical leadership applications across business and ministry contexts, informed by eighteen years of industry experience at Silgan Containers Corporation where he progressed from machinist to operations manager. His expertise integrates union labor relations, organizational behavior, and faith-based leadership principles.
Dr. Hessel concurrently serves as Associate Pastor at Lawson Bible Church and as a certified biblical counselor through the International Association of Biblical Counselors. He consults for churches and nonprofit organizations on leadership challenges and speaks to ministry groups about counseling and management issues.
