Vibeke Christensen

Vibeke Christensen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design, Media and Educational Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. Her academic work spans subject didactics, writing research, teacher training, and intercultural education, with a strong focus on the Danish school subject and elementary education. She is actively involved in research, teaching, and public engagement.

Research Interests: Her research centers on writing development in school subjects, feedback practices, multimodal learning, and the social and emotional aspects of education. She explores how students develop writing identities in grades 6–7 and investigates quality literature education across Nordic countries. Her work also addresses intercultural pedagogy and the impact of societal changes, including the pandemic, on learning environments.
