Vianney Perchet

Vianney Perchet is a Professor at CREST (Centre de recherche en économie et statistique), affiliated with ENSAE since October 2019. His research bridges Machine Learning, Game Theory, and Economics, focusing on theoretical and applied problems in algorithm convergence, recommender systems, and multi-agent decision-making. He also holds a part-time principal researcher role at the Criteo AI Lab in Paris.

His research interests span pure and applied domains, including Reinforcement Learning, Social Learning, Online Matching, Bandit Algorithms, and Auction Theory. He actively advises 5 PhD students and has mentored 4 who have successfully defended their theses.
