Vesna V. Paunovic is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, specializing in Electronics Materials. She holds a PhD (2008), MSc (2002), and BSc (1994) from the University of Nis. Her research focuses on advanced ceramic materials, dielectric properties, and material characterization techniques. She has authored/co-authored 43 papers with impact factor and actively participates in national research projects.
Key research interests include doping effects on BaTiO3 ceramics, fractal analysis of microstructural properties, and IoT-based sensor systems. She contributes to interdisciplinary studies involving historical engineering models (e.g., Tesla's Fountain) and nanocrystalline material synthesis. Professional memberships include IEEE, International Society for Stereology, and Serbian Ceramic Society.
Major publications span across Ceramics International, Journal of the European Ceramic Society, and Science of Sintering, emphasizing ceramic material characterization, microstructural analysis, and electrical properties. Current research involves collaborative projects on energy materials and IoT integration in smart environments.
