Véronique Altglas is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Queen's University Belfast's School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. Her research examines transformations of religion in modern societies and cross-national responses to religious diversity.

- Critical sociology of religion
Dr. Altglas received the 2017 International Society for the Sociology of Religion Book Award for 'From Yoga to Kabbalah: Religious Exoticism and the Logics of Bricolage'. She serves as General Secretary of the ISSR and has held visiting positions at EHESS Paris and University of Oslo.
