Dr. Veronica W. Setiawan is Professor of Population and Public Health Sciences and Professor of Medicine at USC, Co-Leader of the Cancer Epidemiology Program in the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Associate Director for Population Sciences in the USC Research Center for Liver Diseases. Her research focuses on understanding determinants of ethnic differences in cancer incidence and mortality through multi-level data integration encompassing genetics, biomarkers, lifestyle, and social factors.
Her primary research examines liver, pancreatic, endometrial and breast cancer disparities. She leads projects in large epidemiologic studies including the Multiethnic Cohort Study and the NCI Epidemiology of Endometrial Cancer Consortium.
Awards include:

- Jane and Kris Popovich Endowed Chair
She serves as Associate Editor of JNCI and NCI Cohort Consortium Steering Committee member, mentoring researchers in cancer health disparities and population health methodologies.
