معرفی
Veronica Sberveglieri is a Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-IBBR) in Florence since 2016, specializing in chemical sensors and nanotechnology. She holds a PhD in Agri-Food Sciences from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2010–2012) and has conducted postdoctoral research in Italy and the US.
Her research focuses on developing MOX-based sensors for food quality, environmental monitoring, and biomedical applications. Notable contributions include real-time volatile analysis of cheeses, wines, and coffee, as well as microbial contamination detection in water and food. She co-founded NASYS Srl, a startup commercializing nanosensor technologies.
Awards include the 2015 ICST Best Oral Presentation Award and a keynote recognition at AsiaSense 2018. Her work spans over 70 publications with an H-index of 30, emphasizing sensor arrays, electronic noses, and IoT integration.
- Education: PhD in Agri-Food Sciences (2010–2012), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
- Spin-off: NASYS Srl (2016), developing sensor technologies for food and environmental sectors
- Patents: Mass production of gas sensors using PVD/VLS deposition on ceramic substrates
Key projects include fruit jam quality monitoring, wastewater management via sensor arrays, and aroma analysis of olive oils and teas. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges nanotechnology, data analytics, and food safety.
