Veronica Roberta Cappelli

Veronica Roberta Cappelli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision Analysis at IESE Business School. She earned a Ph.D. in Management – Economics and Decision Sciences from HEC Paris, an M.Phil. in Statistics from Bocconi University, and a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.

Her research spans behavioral economics, decision theory, and complex systems, focusing on individual and organizational decision-making under uncertainty and over time. She employs formal, computational, and experimental methods to explore firm growth dynamics and strategic behavior, with publications in the Journal of the European Economic Association and European Journal of Operational Research.

Prior to joining IESE, she held postdoctoral positions at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Santa Fe Institute, and INSEAD.
