Veronica Montiel Terrón

Veronica Montiel Terrón is affiliated with the University of Navarra, where she works as a Medical Collaborator in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology under the Faculty of Medicine (FM). She is also associated with the University of Navarra Clinic (CUN) and was previously part of the Cardiac Tissue Engineering (CTE) research group.

• Education: PhD in Medicine (2020) from the University of Navarra, with a thesis titled Influence of footwear on the angles of the hallux and presence of exostoses in its distal phalanx, supervised by Dr. Matías Alfonso Olmos-García and Dr. Andrés Valentí Azcárate.

Research Interests focus on orthopedics, biomechanics, and tissue engineering, particularly examining foot anatomy and musculoskeletal disorders. Her work intersects clinical practice and biomedical engineering, as evidenced by her involvement in the CTE research group.
