Veronica M. Raney

Veronica M. Raney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She currently serves as the Interim Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Medical Director of the Child Study Center. Her research focuses on addressing gaps in mental health care for Transitional Age Youth (TAY), emphasizing specialized service implementation to improve access and outcomes.

Dr. Raney’s clinical and academic roles are centered on advancing mental health care for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her work bridges clinical practice and translational research, aiming to create sustainable solutions for underserved populations.
