Veronica Jiang

Associate Professor Veronica Jiang is a faculty member at the School of Marketing within the UNSW Business School, where she serves as SDG Committee Chair and holds the title of UNSW Diversity Champion for Disability. With a PhD from Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, she has established herself as a leader in educational innovation and inclusive teaching practices.

Her research focuses on two primary areas: harnessing virtual reality to augment education and refining inclusive education practices. Dr. Jiang is a fervent advocate for educational inclusivity, with proactive efforts to integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles at UNSW and initiatives to bolster digital accessibility and neuro-inclusion in teaching and learning.

Her publication record shows a clear evolution from consumer behavior research toward educational technology and accessibility, with recent work heavily concentrated on disability inclusion, virtual reality applications, and co-creation in educational services. This represents a significant and impactful shift in her scholarly focus toward creating more inclusive educational environments.

Her leadership extends to collaborative projects with Prof. Terry Cumming, Ian McArthur, Karen Kriss, and Karin Watson on inclusive education initiatives.

Through her ADA x Health STORYBOX digital installation and 'Riding with Amy' virtual reality project, she has created impactful platforms that showcase the intersection of technology, accessibility, and education, demonstrating practical applications of her research in real-world settings.
