Dr. Verena Wagner is a researcher in the Department of Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin with significant collaborative work at the University of Konstanz. She leads the research project 'Hot air and empty talk: How language turns into bullshit. Intervention attempts at schools and universities,' which was awarded the University of Konstanz Science Prize 2023 by the Messmer Foundation.
Her research focuses on the philosophy of language, epistemology, and the study of bullshit and disinformation. Dr. Wagner has developed a comprehensive framework for understanding 'bullshit without indifference' and cognitive neutrality in inquiry. She has presented her work at numerous prestigious institutions including Central European University Vienna, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and University of Zurich.
