Verena Schill

Verena Schill serves as Senior Lecturer and School Internship Coordinator at the Institute for Business and Vocational Education, Johannes Kepler University Linz. She examines the integration of school internships into academic curricula and investigates how practical teaching experiences shape professional development of future business educators. Her research bridges theoretical educational frameworks with classroom application through experiential learning models.

As School Internship Coordinator, she oversees the entire practical training component for Business Education students including placement coordination, mentorship frameworks, and structured reflection processes. Her teaching emphasizes hands-on pedagogical skill development through two dedicated courses: 'PR University preparation and follow-up of the school internship I' and 'II'.

Outside academic duties, she maintains active personal interests including family time with children, cycling, healthy cooking, strength training, and mindfulness practices through nature immersion and meditation.
