Prof. Vered Blass is an Associate Professor at the School of Industrial & Intelligent Systems Engineering, Tel Aviv University, where she leads the Innovation in Industrial Ecology research lab. She also holds an associate professor position at the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences and previously served as a Senior Lecturer there (2019–2022). Her interdisciplinary research bridges industrial ecology, life cycle thinking, and sustainable policy design, with applications in mobility, circular economy, Green IT, and environmental assessment of emerging technologies.

She co-founded the Archimedes Center for Applied Systems Analysis in Israel (2023) and collaborates with IIASA as a guest senior research scholar. Her work emphasizes bridging academic rigor with real-world policy implementation.
Prof. Blass has held advisory roles for the Israeli Minister of Finance and the UNIDO Green Industry Platform. She chairs the board of Engineers Without Borders in Israel since 2010. The lab engages in interdisciplinary research with industry partners and policymakers, focusing on life cycle tools and corporate sustainability performance indexes.
