Venetia Notara

Dr. Venetia Notara is an Associate Professor at the Department of Public and Community Health (PADA) at the University of West Attica. She holds a PhD in Health Promotion and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention from Harokopeion University of Athens and an MSc in Health Promotion from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Her research focuses on aging populations, chronic disease prevention, and health promotion strategies, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 140+ conference presentations. She teaches undergraduate courses in Nutrition & Health and Healthy Ageing, and postgraduate courses in Chronic Disease Prevention and Third Ageing.

In collaborations with Harokopeion University and the University of Crete Medical School, she coordinates research studies on public health interventions. Dr. Notara also supervises doctoral and postgraduate theses as part of three-member committees.
