Veit Kohnhauser

Veit Kohnhauser is a Professor at FH Steyr University of Applied Sciences, leading the MSc Degree Programme and serving as Head of the Research Center Steyr's Center of Excellence Logistics LOGISTIKUM. He holds degrees in engineering (Dipl.-Ing) and a doctorate (Dr.).

His research focuses on logistics innovation, supply chain management, automotive industry dynamics, and digitalization in manufacturing. Key projects include the LOG-LogIN initiative (2023–2025), funded by the Austrian Ministry of Transport, promoting intermodal transport knowledge transfer. He has also contributed to studies on passenger car production in Austria and EU, TRIZ problem-solving methodologies, and smart logistics strategies.
