Vaughn Climenhaga

Vaughn Climenhaga is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Houston, specializing in dynamical systems and ergodic theory. His research focuses on non-uniform hyperbolicity, thermodynamic formalism, dimension theory, and multifractal analysis. He has received multiple NSF grants and a Simons Foundation Fellowship.

Climenhaga currently advises PhD students Jason Day, Greg Hemenway, Jasmine Bhullar, and Jason Duvall. His research is supported by NSF grants DMS-2154378 (2022-2025), Simons Foundation Fellowship (2022-2023), DMS-1554794 (2016-2023), and DMS-1362838 (2014-2017).
