معرفی
Vassilissa Vinogradoff is a Research Scientist at CNRS affiliated with the Physique des interactions Ioniques et Moléculaires (PIIM) laboratory at Aix-Marseille University. She leads the ASTRO team specializing in astrochemistry, spectroscopy, and origins of life research, while holding key leadership roles including President of the French Exobiology Society and Assistant Director of the CNRS Research Group GdR PILSE.
Her research spans Astrochemistry, Cosmochemistry, and Exobiology, focusing on molecular interactions in space environments and prebiotic chemistry. Dr. Vinogradoff actively bridges experimental physics with space mission development through her work on NASA's Dawn mission to Vesta and Ceres, and she promotes education via the RED school for doctoral students and publicly accessible exobiology videos.
As Scientific Member of the Dawn/NASA-JPL mission and co-organizer of annual astrobiology courses, she drives interdisciplinary collaboration across European and American space research initiatives. Her laboratory work at PIIM integrates theoretical modeling with experimental spectroscopy to simulate cosmic chemical processes relevant to planetary formation and life's origins.
