Vasilis Niarchos is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete, a position he has held since 2024 following promotion from Associate Professor (2019-2024). His academic appointments include Assistant Professor at Durham University (2016-2019) and research fellowships at the Niels Bohr Institute (2004-2006), École Polytechnique (2006-2010), and the University of Crete (2010-2016).
