Dr. Vasileios Vlaseros is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Finance and Management Information Systems at Deree, The American College of Greece. He leads the Experimental Economics, Fintech and Analytics Research Team within the Research, Technology & Innovation Network.

• Education: PhD in Economics (University of Edinburgh), MPhil in Economics (University of Athens), MSc in Applied Mathematics (University of Athens), Ptychion in Mathematics (University of Athens)

His research focuses on Game Theory, Experimental Economics, Intelligent Systems, and Fintech & Payments Systems. With over 20 years of professional experience in banking analytics and digital transformation, he applies economic theory to real-world financial systems and data science challenges.

Recent publications address strategic voting mechanisms and information asymmetry in collective decision-making. His work bridges theoretical economics with practical applications in fintech and analytical modeling.
