Dr Vasco Vendrame is an experienced academic with a PhD in Finance from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), where he serves as the Associate Director of Academic Enhancement in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance, College of Business and Law. With over 15 years in higher education, he specializes in Finance, particularly Asset Pricing and ESG Investing, while contributing to curriculum development and programme leadership.
- Educational Background: BSc in Economics (University of Trento), MSc in Finance and Risk Management (University of Milan Bicocca), second MSc in Finance (UWE Bristol), and PhD in Finance (UWE Bristol).
Research Focus: His research explores Finance, with emphasis on Asset Pricing, ESG Investing, and Climate Finance. He led the HEIF-funded project Finance and the Transition to Net Zero in collaboration with SERG and GARP, and his work on CAPM extensions has been published in 3* ABS journals. His industry experience in risk management and asset pricing enriches his academic contributions.
Scientific Awards and Recognition: Vendrame holds prestigious qualifications including the Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMBE).
