Vanessa Todman is a PhD student and part-time researcher at King's College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy and the Department of Political Economy. Her doctoral work explores identity and social mobility in Higher Education bursary provision using behavioral science methods.
She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey. Her research interests include HE student finance policy, student attainment and retention, and social equity.
Part-time Employment: She contributes to the King's Social Mobility and Student Success Division, supporting initiatives in social welfare research.
